That said, without a strong, flexible, and well-coordinated body, this exercise will be very tough and the jump up may create anxiety and stress. This is why separating mental and physical is artificial and only works to a certain extent. For mental skills to become functional, they should not be trained separately from physical skills. Now you know why we do mind-body training at 2Mynds!

Life is something we all share and if we have any purpose it's to capture as much of life as possible. Life is in your breath,  life is in your body, life is in nature, life is in everything around you. If that doesn't make sense to you, maybe it's time you take a short moment to become more aware of life. So let us at 2Mynds help you with that 💪. It's fun too, exciting even!

Every Tuesday we start the day with a functional and practical meditation (7 am Pacific time) followed by a mind- body workout (7:45 am Pacific time). BTT is one of the premier tennis academies in Barcelona, with great facilities just outside of Barcelona in beautiful surroundings. Now they also integrate 2Mynds mind-body training in their program, giving all the players and coaches the tools to improve mental fitness in day- to-day tennis training.

Your mind is like a lake that mirrors reality. Whe Your mind is like a lake that mirrors reality. When it is turbulent, your view becomes distorted. When you calm your mind, the waves and ripples fade away and you start seeing things more clearly. This is not something you can master by simply understanding, you need to practice.

As you practice calming your mind, it may be scary or uncomfortable at first (it's so much easier to let social media, movies, friends, and your internal thoughts rule the water). It can seem as if you are all alone in your mind, but if you persevere, you'll find that you can only truly connect with the world when there are no ripples in the water. Your calm mind may calm someone else's mind and allow you to connect more deeply and more honestly. This always starts on the inside, with yourself.

Over the next few days, you may come across a beautiful view like this. You may be in the car, you may be on your phone (that's very likely), but hopefully not both. Whatever it is you're doing, take a break (well, park your car first). If you're with someone, consider it a double challenge! Get him or her to do it with you:

Give 10 minutes of your life completely to that view. Don't talk, don't move. As you breathe in, give that view all your attention, as if you are with an old friend you haven't seen in a long time. As you breathe out, smile to your friend. Repeat and feel the connection grow. With a bit of luck, you will not just enjoy the view, you will become part of it. Like close friends.

This takes 10 minutes out of your day. If it seems like a waste, try it anyway. You will see that it contributes more than it takes. If your experience is rewarding, pass this challenge on to a friend!
